Start with the run you want to do, then compare how the shoe feels at that pace. Saucony's road wall includes conventional daily trainers, cushioned guided platforms, a nylon-plated performance trainer and a carbon-plated racer. The right comparison becomes clearer when you name the exact generation.

| Hurricane 26 | incrediLUX cushioning and CenterPath geometry | You want to compare a more cushioned guided option with Guide. |

| Endorphin Pro 5 | PWRRUN PB plus Super Critical PWRRUN HG; slotted carbon plate | You are comparing a dedicated road-racing shoe. |
Ride versus Triumph: compare the feel at your ordinary pace
Try both with the socks you usually run in. Walk first, then jog at the pace you expect to use most. Ask whether the heel feels settled and the forefoot has room without sliding. A softer first step is useful information, but it does not settle the whole decision.
Guide versus Hurricane: choose through comfort in motion
Compare how the platform feels through landing, transition and a controlled turn. The support label should help you find a starting point for a fitting. It cannot establish that a particular shoe is right for your foot. Bring your current pair and describe what feels steady or restrictive in it.
Speed versus Pro: give the session a name
For a recurring workout shoe, begin by comparing Speed 6 at your working pace. For race preparation, try Pro 5 in the context of the distance, surface and pace you have planned. You do not need to buy both to take training seriously. Choose the pair that solves the actual need in your week.
A generation number can change the answer
This table describes the named models, not every shoe ever sold under those families. In particular, Speed 5 and Speed 6 use different foam names. Open the exact product page for specifications and live size options. Older stock can be useful when the fit and intended use work for you.
