The race & course

Harper’s starts and finishes by Abel’s Pub (65 Rotary Ave) on Binghamton’s West Side and rolls on a near-flat, PR-friendly route. The relay splits the 10K into 3.5 miles (leg 1) and 2.7 miles (leg 2) with the exchange near Seminary Ave & Beethoven St—a spectator-dense handoff that adds to the energy. Course records earn a bonus, and the post-race scene brings food, beer, and live music—classic Harper’s. RunSignupFalcon Race Timing

Highlights from race day

  • Confluence Running Elite = team win. Depth did the damage—tight scoring through the top finishers sealed the title.

  • Matt Cav set the tone. Cavaliere (“Matt Cav”) pushed the early tempo and kept the front honest, keying the team’s scoring effort. (Catch him and more in the replay.) Facebook

  • Relay drama. Exchanges at Beethoven St. delivered the usual roar, with mixed and family divisions stacking the curb with spectators. Confluence Running Company
