The Belmar Parade Day Mile
Lead one of Binghamton’s biggest days of the year. The Belmar Parade Day Mile races straight down Main Street immediately before the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, giving runners and walkers a rare chance to race the parade route in front of the downtown crowd.

Elite racing
Separate elite heats give competitive milers a chance to race for prize money in front of the Parade Day crowd.
Point-to-point downtown course
The race begins near the Broome County Public Library and finishes near the Belmar Pub before the parade takes over Main Street.

Elite prize purse
The 2026 elite heats offered $500 for first, $100 for second and $50 for third for both men and women, plus a $50 Confluence Running gift-card premium for the first eligible male and female to the 400-meter mark who also completed the race. Future-year awards may change; RunSignup is the source for the current prize structure.
Packet pickup & Parade Day planning
For 2026, advance pickup was held at Confluence Running in Johnson City on Friday, with race-day pickup outside the Broome County Public Library. Parade Day creates significant downtown traffic and parking demand, so participants should plan extra arrival time and use downtown garages or legal side-street parking when available.
