The HOKA Rocket X 2 takes HOKA's previous race day shoe onto new heights. For the first time, HOKA implemented a PEBA based midsole around a new spoon shaped carbon plate to propel it to the top of the super shoe discussion. The synthetic mesh upper is held together by an internal mid foot cage designed to keep you locked in from start to finish. Coming in at 8.3oz for a men's size 10 and 6.7oz for a women's size 8 (and thats including a modest amount of zonal outsole rubber) the Rocket X 2 is light enough and built for the long haul.

Use Cases

This is going to be a top option to join the litany of other brightly colored, max cushioned, super shoes toeing the starting line on race day. If you looked closely at the feet of your favorite HOKA sponsored athletes, this shoe has already been atop the podium at World Major Marathons and Professional Triathlon/Ironman Events.
