BDMS Cupcake 5K

The BDMS Cupcake 5K is a Newburgh, New York community road race that combines a 5K with a kids race for a family-friendly Hudson Valley event. Starting from the Powell Avenue area, the race gives adult runners and younger participants their own opportunities to join the action, making it an approachable local race-day option for a range of ages.

The BDMS Cupcake 5K is being listed for Sunday, September 19, 2027 in the Hudson Valley as a tentative date based on the 2026 event and its September weekend placement. The community 5K adds an approachable local road-racing option to a busy early-fall calendar and can serve runners, walkers, families, and newer participants as well as experienced racers. Confluence Running is publishing the projected date now so participants can plan ahead. The organizer has not yet confirmed the 2027 edition, so the exact venue, course, start time, registration, packet pickup, awards, and event-day details may change.
