Blue Shoes Invitational

The Blue Shoes Invitational is being listed for Saturday, May 1, 2027 in Horseheads as a tentative date based on the 2026 Section IV outdoor track schedule and its traditional early-May placement. The invitational gives Finger Lakes and Southern Tier high school athletes a strong midseason competition across running, jumping, and throwing events before championship meets begin. Confluence Running is publishing the projected date now so athletes, families, coaches, and local supporters can plan ahead. The 2027 host schedule has not yet been finalized, so the exact date, start time, event order, entry standards, scoring, and facility procedures may change.
