Chenango Valley XC Kick Off Meet

The Chenango Valley XC Kick Off Meet is being listed for Thursday, September 2, 2027 as a tentative date based on the 2026 opening meet’s Thursday placement. The early-season cross-country competition gives Southern Tier high school runners one of their first opportunities to race after summer training and establish a baseline before the larger invitational schedule begins. Confluence Running is publishing the projected date so athletes, families, and coaches can plan ahead. The official 2027 school schedule has not yet been released, so the final host site, participating teams, start time, race distances, course, and meet procedures may change.

The Chenango Valley XC Kick Off Meet opens the fall scholastic cross-country season with a tri-meet at Owego Free Academy.

Projected planning date for 2028; organizer confirmation is still pending.
