Fort Drum Super Hero 5K

The Fort Drum Super Hero 5K is being listed for Saturday, August 21, 2027 at Magrath Sports Complex as a tentative date based on the 2026 FMWR event and its late-August weekend placement. The themed 5K is designed as an inclusive community fitness event and has historically welcomed walkers, strollers, and leashed pets alongside runners. Confluence Running is publishing the projected date now so North Country military families can plan ahead. The official 2027 FMWR calendar has not yet been released, so start time, eligibility, access requirements, registration, course, participant rules, and event-day details may change.

The Fort Drum Super Hero 5K is a themed FMWR 5K for eligible Department of War patrons, with walkers, strollers and leashed pets welcome.

Projected planning date for 2028; organizer confirmation is still pending.
