Lake Placid Marathon / Half Marathon / 10K

The Lake Placid Marathon weekend features marathon, half marathon and 10K distances in the Adirondacks, with the Olympic Speedskating Oval serving as the event hub.

The Lake Placid Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K are confirmed for Sunday, June 13, 2027, with an 8:00 a.m. start in Lake Placid. The race weekend gives runners three distance choices in one of the Adirondacks’ best-known endurance-sport destinations, with the Olympic village serving as the setting for a major regional road-running event. The confirmed 2027 date makes this an excellent long-range training goal for marathoners, half-marathoners, and 10K runners. Packet pickup is expected the day before the race. Course information, transportation, parking, aid stations, registration deadlines, and race-weekend procedures should still be checked with the organizer as the event approaches.
