South Orange Family YMCA Annual 5K & Kids Color Dash

The South Orange Family YMCA Annual 5K & Kids Color Dash brings a community road race and youth event to Monroe, New York. Adults and older participants can take on the 5K run/walk while younger runners get their own Kids Color Dash, creating a family-focused Hudson Valley race day connected to the South Orange Family YMCA.

The South Orange Family YMCA 5K & Kids’ Color Dash is being listed for Saturday, September 25, 2027 in Monroe as a tentative date based on the 2026 event and its late-September placement. The race combines a community 5K with a children’s color-dash component, allowing adult runners, families, and younger participants to share one event day. Confluence Running is publishing the projected date now so Hudson Valley families can plan ahead. The organizer has not yet confirmed the 2027 edition, so the start times, course, kids-event format, registration, packet pickup, awards, parking, and race-day schedule may change.
