StacheStrong 5K Run/Walk

The StacheStrong 5K Run/Walk brings runners and walkers together at Vestal High School in Vestal, New York to support brain cancer research. The ninth annual event combines an in-person 5K with a virtual option, allowing Southern Tier participants and supporters farther away to take part while helping advance StacheStrong’s fundraising mission.

The StacheStrong 5K Run/Walk is being listed for Saturday, September 18, 2027 in Vestal as a tentative date based on the 2026 event and its mid-September placement. Confluence Running is publishing the projected date now so participants can plan ahead. The organizer has not yet confirmed the 2027 edition, so the final venue, start time, course, registration, fundraising details, virtual options, packet pickup, awards, and event-day logistics may change.
