The handbook lists a 5,000-meter course. Entries close November 1 at 9:00 PM. Each class-winning team advances to the November 14 state meet at Queensbury, together with five eligible individuals outside the winning team. Read the course map, access rules and qualification details.
Confluence analysis uses the October 24 finishes at Fortin Park. The timer’s varsity team tables score the published combined field. These figures do not reproduce separate large-school and small-school award scoring.
October 24 | Individual form
Christopher Lawson won the varsity boys race in 15:39.70. Nikhil Datta followed in 15:45.20 and Aidan Skuban in 16:08.40. Lawson and Datta finished 5.5 seconds apart in the same race.
Lawson appears in the current Class A entries and Skuban in Class C. Datta’s existing Class C watch comes from the earlier season review. His name was absent from the partial portal snapshot reviewed here.
Team prospects | Confluence assessment
The published varsity team table has Corning on 43, Vestal on 72 and Ithaca on 89. Corning placed five scorers in the first 17. The result supports its Class A team prospects. Vestal’s current Class B entries create a separate sectional contest.
October 24 | Girls team form
Tsadia Bercuvitz won in 18:03.10. Mattea Dauria and Avery Whittaker followed in second and third. The published team table has Ithaca on 39, Vestal on 45 and Corning on 74.
Ithaca’s Class A prospects come from its recent finishes and the conference preview. Its names were absent from the partial sectional entry snapshot reviewed here.
Class B | Current entries
Kayla Fletcher placed fourth in 19:54.70. Madison Novotny placed sixth in 20:04.40. Alana Fletcher, Bailey Parsons and Reagan Downy finished eighth through tenth. Their current sectional entries place these runners in Class B.
2026 class correction
The 2026 sectional entry portal lists both Owego boys and girls in Class C. This corrects the earlier guide’s Class B references. Sarah Heath, Vitaliy Sirotkin, Everett Tirinato-Snow and Levi Saunders appear in the current Class C entries.
Clara Little ran 20:11.00 at STAC, Lyla Houser 20:28.30 and Heath 21:43.50. Little and Houser remain recent-form watch names while the portal fills.
Current entries | Boys and girls
The current boys list includes Jaden Lewis, Jake Favinger, Gavin Meier and Emmett Tweed. The girls list includes Paige Sherwood, Aurelia Comer, Kali Buttacavoli, Janne Anderson, Madison Farberman and Alison Belcher.
These names come from the current entry portal. They form a watch list, without treating submitted seeds from different courses as a head-to-head result.
