The 2026 1812 Challenge Weekend brought runners, walkers, families, volunteers, music, lake views, battlefield miles, and a whole lot of finish-line grit back to Sackets Harbor, New York.

We are already listening to participant feedback and making updates for next year, including clearer communication, improved website details, and an additional water station on course.
The GiGi’s Playhouse Southern Tier 5K brought the community together at Otsiningo Park for a morning of running, walking, kids’ activities, celebration, and support for free programs serving individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
