The 1812 Challenge weekend is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever! This year’s event, set for June 27–28, is packed with new races, exciting challenges, and even a returning music festival.

What’s New This Year?

1812 Challenge weekend is introducing even more opportunities for runners to test their limits:

5 Miler – A brand-new race added to the lineup! Scheduled 45 minutes after the 5K, it’s perfect for those who want to double up.

Challenge Bundles – Push yourself further with multi-race challenges, including:

Returning Challenges:

  • Patriot Challenge (5K + Half Marathon)
  • Victory Challenge (5K + 18.12 Challenge)

New Challenges:

  • Liberty Challenge (5K + 5 Miler)
  • Militia Challenge (5 Miler + Half Marathon)
  • Independence Challenge (5 Miler + 18.12 Challenge)
  • Colonial Challenge (5K + 5 Miler + Half Marathon)
  • Freedom Challenge (5K + 5 Miler + 18.12 Challenge)

Taken together, the Freedom Challenge adds up to a full 26.2 miles across two days — a marathon weekend experience without the pressure of running it all at once!

Festival Atmosphere

The 1812 Challenge isn’t just about racing—it’s a full weekend experience. On Saturday, during the 5K and 5 Miler, Ingrid’s music festival will return to energize runners and spectators alike. It’s the perfect way to celebrate summer, fitness, and community.
