A running shoe fitting at Confluence Running is a free, walk-in conversation and comparison process designed to help you find footwear that feels comfortable and matches how you plan to use it. No appointment is required, and most fittings take about 10–20 minutes.

What We Look At

We start with your goals, activity, footwear history, preferences, and comfort. A trained footwear specialist can measure foot length and width and, when useful, observe how you move. Those observations help us compare shoe options; they are not a medical diagnosis or prescription.

Trying Shoes

We typically compare several models so you can feel differences in fit, cushioning, geometry, width, and support features. A treadmill may be used when it helps with comparison, but it is not required for every fitting.

What We Do Not Do

Our footwear staff do not diagnose or treat injuries, prescribe medical care, or guarantee that a shoe will prevent injury. If you have persistent pain, an injury, or a medical concern, a licensed healthcare professional is the right resource.

What to Bring

If practical, bring the socks you normally wear and any current footwear that helps explain what has been working or not working for you. You do not need special gear to be fitted.
