Five Races, One Fall Season
The fifth and final race of the Fall 2026 Healthy Kids Running Series in Binghamton took place on Sunday, October 25, at Otsiningo Park. After five race days, the season comes to a close with another opportunity to recognize the young runners, families and volunteers who make this local running series possible.

Looking Back at Five Race Days
The fall series started September 20 and continued September 27, October 4 and October 18 before today's finale. Each race gave local children another chance to learn the course, take part in their age division and return to the starting line.
We saw stories worth remembering in the earlier weeks. Race 1 introduced new faces alongside returning runners. Race 3 included a young runner who got up after a fall and finished her race. The Race 4 recap looked at how much children learn over repeated weeks of racing.
Today's gallery adds the fifth chapter to that Fall 2026 story. Thank you to the Healthy Kids Running Series organizers, race volunteers, families and the young athletes who showed up this season.
