Confluence Running Sizing Guide

One generic chart cannot explain every brand.

Our brand guides separate universal sizing concepts from the manufacturer-specific rules, cuts and conventions that can actually change your best size.

Our rule: if a brand-specific chart or current product note conflicts with a generic conversion, use the current brand/product guidance.

We add dedicated guides when a brand's sizing system is distinctive enough that a generic page would create more confusion than clarity.

Why footwear brands can feel different

The same technical width does not guarantee the same shape. Heel shape, midfoot volume, forefoot geometry, toe depth, upper construction and platform shape can make two shoes with the same size and width code fit very differently.

Why apparel brands can feel different

A Medium in one brand may not match a Medium in another. Numeric sizes can also shift meaning depending on the garment's intended silhouette, fabric stretch and compression. Body measurements create a common reference point, but the current brand chart remains important.

Why we do not force every brand into one chart

A single conversion table can look simple while quietly producing bad recommendations. Our goal is to make sizing easier without hiding meaningful differences.
