Thousand Island Park 5K

The Thousand Island Park 5K is being listed for Sunday, July 4, 2027 in the Wellesley Island and Thousand Island Park area as a tentative date based on the 2026 race and its Independence Day tradition. The 5K provides a classic summer holiday running opportunity in the Thousand Islands, combining community participation with a manageable road-race distance. Confluence Running is publishing the projected date now so North Country runners and visiting families can plan ahead. The organizer has not yet confirmed the 2027 edition, so the final course, start time, registration, packet pickup, awards, parking, road-control information, and race-day schedule may change.

The Thousand Island Park 5K is a July 4 road race on Wellesley Island in the Thousand Islands region.

Projected planning date for 2028; organizer confirmation is still pending.
