Trailfest - Newtown Battlefield

Trailfest at Newtown Battlefield is being listed for Saturday, July 10, 2027 in the Elmira area as a tentative date based on the 2026 Southern Tier Running Club calendar and the event’s July placement. The trail race gives Finger Lakes runners an off-road alternative to the summer road-racing schedule and highlights the terrain around Newtown Battlefield. Confluence Running is publishing the projected date now so trail runners can plan training and travel. The organizer has not yet confirmed the 2027 edition, so the final race distances, course, start times, registration, aid stations, trail conditions, awards, and event-day procedures may change.
