Record watch
A very fast Wineglass weekend
Liam Tilton won the 2026 Guthrie Wineglass Marathon in 2:17:09, finishing just 11 seconds behind Joseph Whelan's official men's course record of 2:16:58 from 2023. It was a tremendous winning performance, but not a new marathon course record.
Will Loevner's 1:04:28 lowered his own listed men's Wineglass Half Marathon course record of 1:05:04 by 36 seconds.
In the 5K, Leone Timing's currently published 15:35 for Brandon McGorty and 17:02 for McKenna Coughlin are both faster than the previous overall records listed by Wineglass (15:57 men and 17:52 women). Because the RunSignup results are still marked preliminary, we are treating those 5K record performances as pending final confirmation.
