711 Pairs and Counting: Confluence Running's 2026 Shoe Recycling Impact
Confluence Running customers have helped collect 711 pairs of shoes in 2026 through September through our Sneaker Impact Better Bins program.
What was in the latest shipment?
The September shipment contained 21 pairs. Sneaker Impact categorized the shipment as 15 good sneakers, 2 casual/mixed pairs, and 4 end-of-life pairs.
How 711 pairs happens
There is no single giant collection day behind the total. It comes from customers bringing a pair or two during regular visits, staff keeping the program visible, and stores consolidating those donations into shipments.
Customers drop off
Eligible athletic footwear and fitness apparel can be brought to participating Confluence Running stores.
Stores collect
Donated items are consolidated through Better Bins and prepared for shipment.
Sneaker Impact sorts
Received items are evaluated for the appropriate next pathway based on condition and program channels.
