How It Works

From now through Cyber Monday, December 3rd, bring any brand-new pair of socks to your local Confluence Running store and you’ll receive:

10% off your in-store purchase that day – no minimum spend required.

A few quick details:

  • Any brand, from any store – they do not have to be purchased at Confluence Running.

  • Must be new and unused for health, dignity, and safety reasons.

  • No minimum purchase to use your 10% off.

  • Discount must be used the same day you donate your socks.

We’ll take care of the rest and get your donated socks to local kids and families who truly need them.

Who Will Receive the Socks?

This year, we’re proud to support the Children’s Enrichment Committee of Orange County, an organization that helps provide essentials and experiences for children and families in need across the region.

Confluence Running is kicking things off by donating 150+ pairs of socks ourselves—and we’d love your help to blow past that number.

Why Socks?

Socks are one of the most requested but least donated items for people in need—especially children. A warm, comfortable pair of socks can be the difference between shivering and feeling safe and cared for.

They’re small items with a big impact. And together, we can make sure more kids and families in our community have that basic comfort as the temperatures drop and the holidays approach.

Give a gift of warmth. Share a little comfort. Make someone’s day better.

  2. Bring them to your local Confluence Running before Cyber Monday, December 3rd.

Give the Gift of Warmth: Confluence Running Launches Community Sock Drive in Orange County

This week, community members, local leaders, and nonprofit partners gathered in Middletown to celebrate the launch of the Give the Gift of Warmth Sock Drive — an effort dedicated to supporting children and families throughout Orange County during the winter season.

The event opened with a live stream so that organizations across the region could join in and share the moment. Representatives from the Children’s Enrichment Committee of Orange County, the PRC/CDC, Legislator Robert Sassi, members of Rotary, and many other supporters attended in person. The atmosphere was warm, collaborative, and filled with gratitude as introductions and thank-yous were exchanged.

350 Pairs Donated to Kick Off the Drive

Confluence Running proudly donated 350 pairs of brand-new socks, supplied with generous support from OS1st, a company known for high-quality comfort and diabetic-friendly socks. Boxes of colorful, warm socks filled the space beneath the table — an impactful visual reminder of what community partnership can achieve.

This donation marks only the beginning.

Statewide Sock Collection Now Through December 3rd

From now until December 3rd, all five Confluence Running locations across New York State will be collecting new socks for the Children’s Enrichment Committee of Orange County. Customers, runners, families, and community members are encouraged to drop off donations during store hours.

Every pair donated will directly support local children, teens, and families who need help staying warm this winter.

More Than a Retail Store — A Community Partner

During the event, Confluence Running reaffirmed its commitment to being more than a retail shop. The mission is simple: be a true part of the community, not just in business, but in service.

“Taking care of our communities is what matters most,” the team shared. “We want to be a staple in our neighborhoods — helping, supporting, and giving back whenever we can.”

The Children’s Enrichment Committee expressed heartfelt gratitude for the partnership and support, calling the donation “fabulous” and celebrating the community’s generosity.
