Welcome the holiday season with Middletown's annual downtown parade and Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
About the event
Middletown's Tree Lighting Parade & Ceremony is a standing downtown tradition held the day after Thanksgiving. In 2026, that places the event on Friday, November 27. The parade traditionally begins on North Street and concludes at Festival Square for the tree-lighting ceremony and a Santa appearance. The city has not yet posted the full 2026 time and program, so check the official page as details are released.Dates & event history
