Team racing

Build a team, race together and make every finishing place matter. STXC combines individual competition with the culture and strategy of cross-country scoring.

Five different race days

The series moves across Southern Tier courses instead of repeating one road loop. Grass, trails, turns, hills and fall weather are part of the point.

The Hare

Yes, there is a Hare. The roaming man-rabbit is part mascot, part course mischief and part STXC tradition. Catch the right opportunity and you can help your team.

Community over five weeks

You see the same rivals and teammates again and again. That repeat connection is what turns a set of races into a season.

Who is STXC for?

You do not need to have raced cross country in high school or college, and you do not need to be the fastest person on your team. STXC is designed for competitive runners, recreational runners and people who simply want a reason to race off-road through the fall. Show up as the runner you are now.

Team scoring, divisions & season standings

Team scoring is a central part of STXC. Divisions and scoring rules can evolve by season, so the current rules, team-registration requirements and weekly standings should be checked with the series materials and race communications. Race results, team standings and season updates are published throughout the fall.

Historic STXC results, standings & race photos

Years of Southern Tier cross-country history were previously sitting on an unpublished legacy page. Those links now live with the current series so old results and photos remain part of the same evergreen STXC record.

Legacy course resource: We also preserved a start/finish/registration/parking map from the former Confluence Running Events site. Because course logistics change by venue and year, treat it as a historical resource rather than current race-day instructions. View the legacy STXC map →
