Built around Altra's signature zero-drop platform and FootShape™ fit, the Torin 9 offers natural movement with enhanced cushioning and improved road performance.

The biggest update comes from the all-new P35X midsole foam, replacing the previous EGO™ MAX compound. This innovative dual-density cushioning system combines a plush, energetic core with a supportive perimeter rim, creating a premium underfoot experience that feels soft, bouncy, and stable from the first mile to the last.

Underfoot, the Torin 9 debuts a Vibram® XS Run AW outsole, delivering exceptional durability and road-specific grip. Developed from Vibram's proven performance technology, this specialized rubber compound provides up to 20% more traction than the previous Torin, helping runners stay confident on a variety of road surfaces.

The redesigned engineered mesh upper enhances breathability while improving overall comfort around the collar and heel. Two ghillie lace loops create a more adaptable fit, allowing for customized lockdown across a wider range of foot shapes.

While the stack height is slightly reduced for greater versatility and ground feel, the Torin 9 maintains the features runners love most: a balanced zero-drop platform and Altra's naturally roomy toe box that encourages natural foot positioning and toe splay.
